Mrs. Pankratz had this to say about Brooklyn, “Brooklyn models the Rocket Way every day! She comes in every morning with a smile on her face and is remembers to do her morning job right away. Come into my room any time and Brooklyn is sure to be the one being a respectful listener when someone else is talking, She will be one of the first ones doing her job right away after I give a direction. She will be the one that always remembers to raise her hand or give a thumbs up when she has the answer or something to share. She also is very polite and her work is always done neatly and completely! She often cleans up the paper towel off the floor in the bathroom---without being asked!
I am proud to nominate Brooklyn Wilke for Student of the month!.”
Mrs. Wolf also added, “I had the pleasure of having Brooklyn for two years in 4k and again in kindergarten. What a wonderful experience getting to know more about Brooklyn and watching her bloom over the course of both years. Brooklyn is a kind hearted and very loving young lady. She was always very respectful, helpful and eager to learn. Brooklyn always worked hard in my classroom, even if she wasn't sure about something she would push forward until she got it! Brooklyn was a good friend to many and a very helpful peer to those that needed her. Every time I see Brooklyn she is always the perfect model of the Rocket Way! I couldn't be more proud of her and so happy she is the student of the month. Congratulation Brooklyn!”
Miss Lorentz first nominated Charlotte saying, “While visiting Mrs. Zuelke's classroom, I noticed that Charlotte was doing a great job following the Rocket Way. She was participating in class, was very polite to not only her teachers, but to her classmates as well. She is a student who goes above and beyond. While answering questions in class, Charlotte did a great job of incorporating our word of the week and even talked about words in previous weeks!”
Mrs. Zuelke also nominated Charlotte and shared, “I can always count on Charlotte to show the Rocket Way. Charlotte shows responsibility daily by getting right to work and doing her job right away. She shows myself and her peers respect by listening quietly when someone is sharing. She is a good friend to her peers--helping them, being a good partner, and accepts all peers. Everyone likes Charlotte and Charlotte likes everyone.”
More kind words came from Mrs. Wolf, “I was fortunate to have Charlotte for two years as well. Charlotte started 4k as a shy little girl, but developed into a very confident young lady! She worked very hard everyday and always did what was asked of her. Charlotte was a good helper to many and a terrific role model for her peers. Charlotte was always good with numbers and quite the little math wiz! She loved to be challenged with her daily work. Charlotte was always a hard worker, respectful and responsible she is the perfect choice for student of the month! I'm very proud of you Charlotte! Congratulations!”
Congratulations Brooklyn and Charlotte on being named Spencer Elementary’s Students of the Month for December. You set a great example for everyone with your helpfulness, hard work and kindness. We are so glad that you are part of our Rocket Family!
