Five Spencer Students To Participate In Health Career Connections

Rachel Busse, Shelbi Hoefs, Lindsey Loos, Hope Ngirwe and Shaelee Neitzel will particpate in the Health Career Connections program next year. 

Health Career Connections is a sequential program for high school students interested in health careers. The program provides students with an understanding of skills needed for a variety of careers within health services. Health Career Connections offers internships designed to familiarize students with the various careers in the medical profession. Students will learn skills necessary for their health care career pathway, in addition to working with others, legal and ethical responsibilities cultural considerations in the health care industry, problem solving, decision making, accepting personal responsibility and self-management.
