High School Science Classes Continue to Implement New Technology

High School Science

One of the great things about high school students is that they are often very knowledgeable about new technology. Many of the high school science courses use Vernier sensors as a large component of the lab work. Digital sensors allow students to gather and analyze data in real time. A new type of technology that we tried this year in Biology 2 is using cell phones with microscopes to take videos of the organisms being observed. Not surprisingly, many of the students were excited to try this and took almost no time to master the process. - Submitted by Mrs. Roehrborn
