OF SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the qualified electors of the School District of Spencer, Marathon and Clark Counties, Wisconsin, that a School Board election will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, to succeed the present incumbents listed below. The term of office will be for 3 years, beginning on Monday, April 24, 2023.
Two School Board members from Area No. 2, Rural School District of Spencer
(Townships of Brighton, McMillan, Sherman, Spencer and Unity)
(Shawn Lyon, Incumbent)
(Becky Gorst, Incumbent)
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that a “Campaign Registration Statement” and a “Declaration of Candidacy”, must be filed no later than 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 in the office of the school district clerk, Spencer Public School, District Office, 300 N School Street, Spencer, Wisconsin.
Candidates must be qualified electors of the School District and notice is hereby given that candidates for the above offices must be residents of the municipality specified, but the entire School District will vote on all candidates.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
