School District of Spencer Parent Update:


We are off and running!


Virtual Learning Begins Tuesday March 17, 2020 and will continue until at least April 3, 2020. More information pending as it pertains to the end date.



As best as we can we will have all offices open for general school business and to direct calls etc. our office numbers are Elementary 715-659-4642 MS/HS 715-659-4211 District Office 715-659-5347


School Calendar


The District will adhere to the school calendar for the duration of this time. We have cancelled parent teacher conferences on March 19 and there will only be a half day of instruction. No instruction on March 20 as it was a planned inservice day and no school for kids.


Lunch Services


Please find information on our website at for our lunch services being offered free of charge to all students 18 years and under.


Day Care Services


Our Rookie Rocket Learning Center is open and has available spots. For more information please call 715-659-4642 ext. 1230.


Evening Events


For the duration of the mandated closure all previously scheduled evening or weekend events will be cancelled with the exception of our School Board meeting.


Frequently Asked Questions


Do students have to attend virtual school on days when school was not scheduled to be in session?

No, we will be following the school calendar throughout this process.

What if we do not have internet that works with the Chromebooks?

Contact Mr. Gorst and Mrs. Harn at and and they will see if they can get you set up with a hot spot for educational purposes only.

Will sports be taking place?

At this time the answer is no. We will let you know if anything changes.

How long will we be doing virtual learning?

The initial orders from the Governor state April 6th. We will provide updates as they come to us.

Will we be having parent teacher conferences?

No, not in the traditional format. Please reach out to teachers if you have concerns.
